Friday Letters

Dear Children, we have had a rough week, but when it was over you were all playing and laughing together. It was music to my heart. Dear Sis, It was great having you come visit for the day with the boys. You guys will have to come again! Dear Life, remember shirt guy? Remember how my first impression was that he was a weirdo? Well that was an understatement! With creepy stalker guy around the corner and creepy shirt/predator guy next door the police had to be involved. Trying to laugh it off didn't work. It has really stressed me out. I have to move. Lesson- always trust your gut. Dear Seriously?, After everything that has happened having a stranger bang on my front door at 1:00 in the morning for 10min. scared the crap out of me. The police responded so fast and took care of it for me. A random guy saw the ex/neighbor's puppy that he just left in my backyard and decided that 1am was the time to give it to me. Your crazy if you think I will answer my door when it's dark.  Dear Friends, it has been so comforting to have your support and advice this week. Dear Sis, thanks for being there when I called you late after a traumatic day and talked to you for hours trying to figure out what to do. It helped me so much. Dear Fair, we spent 3 hours there and didn't spend any money and it was still fun. My kids liked the karate show. I learned things about cows that I never knew! Dear Hazel, your preschool entered 3 of your drawings in the fair and you won two 1st place and one 3rd place. You were excited. So cute. Oh, and I must teach you the correct way to say "sit" you kept saying "what mom? I'm just saying !#*%"... Avary was her puppy. Dear Awesome, Brittany watching my kids for a couple of hours and when I came to pick them up she had taught Hazel to ride a 2 wheeler! Ha! Now that's a friend, and she is 9 months prego. Talk about wonder woman. Dear PT, you guys are so great. You helped me with my stalkers issue and you found a different house for us to rent, just because you are nice and NORMAL. Its good to know some exist. Oh, and you helped my knees a ton! Just in time, the insurance company decided that I have graduated. Dear Kade, I couldn't be more proud of you right now. Meeting with your teacher made me so happy. She said you are such a good example and always the first to listen and obey, that you always work so hard and you participate happily on your own! You even have an A in spelling!!! She said you are a perfect student. I can't even express my relief. This is where you were meant to be. Dear Avary, funny how your teacher said the exact same thing about you! The perfect student. I love it. I'm so proud of you! I'm so glad you are happy here. Dear Preschool Field Trip, to the pumpkin patch. Riding a bus is not my favorite, but riding it with Hazel is. She got to ride a horse, play games, hay ride around the cotton fields and games. Fun. Dear Hailey, your report card was also great and you love everything about school. I am proud of you for listening and then obeying immediately when it was so important even though you didn't fully understand. Good girl. Dear Dad, I love you so much. I miss you so much. A girls first hero is her Daddy, so true. I wish I could have been there for your Birthday, I would have made you a homemade carrot cake with nuts, just the way you like. Happy Birthday! Dear Self, I have learned so much this week. I have been so blessed and reminded yet again that I. am. not. alone. The Lord loves me. And I love Him.
